Senior Accountant:

Are you an exceptional accountant who is known for never missing a detail? Do you thrive on conducting analysis and contributing to the financial success of a company? As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Controller and be part of a nine-person finance team.
Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

        • Conduct ongoing analysis of process constraints – target costing projects, margin analysis and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
        • Monitor cost effective data accumulation systems to provide costing information to management.
        • Create and review controls for data compilation and reporting.
        • Report on margins by product, job, and division.
        • Report on variances and their causes.
        • Reconcile sales, cost and inventory accounts.
        • Work on special projects as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Traveling Mechanic:

National Salvage & Service has an opening for a Traveling Mechanic. To be considered you MUST have mechanical experience working on heavy equipment. This position requires ability to travel and be away from home approximately
3 to 4 weeks at a time. National Salvage & Service is an industry leader and rapidly growing company in the Demolition and Railroad industry. This mechanic will be traveling between job sites servicing heavy equipment, earth moving machinery, trucks and trailers.

Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

        • Perform diagnostics and repair of machinery.
        • Maintain and implement preventive maintenance.
        • Able to work long hours, overtime and possible weekend work in various weather conditions.
        • Fill out and complete daily paperwork and work independently.

Position-specific Competencies

        • Mechanical knowledge on heavy equipment in order to make repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection).
        • Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone.
        • Travel for 3-4 weeks at a time, then home for one week.
        • Hold valid driver’s license.
        • Have had no felonies in the past 7 years.
        • Must be able to climb and able to lift 25 pounds.

<Requirements

        • Minimum 3 years experience working on trucks/trailers/heavy equipment.
        • Must own basic hand tools to accomplish the task, specialty tools will be supplied.
        • Class A or B CDL preferred but not required.
